Join Us for National Day of Prayer

[MUSIC PLAYING] Hi, my name is Tiaan Brown. I’m the manager of Our Prayer. You know, one thing I’ve identified is that almost everyone loves music. 

When I was a child, my grandfather used to play the trumpet. And what’s so cool about it is that it just had this distinctive sound. You knew that it was the trumpet when you heard it. 

You know what reminds me of that? Prayer. Prayer has a distinctive sound that when you and I lift our voice unto God, God hears us. And so we’re recognizing National Day of Prayer. 

In the Bible Isaiah 58 and 1 it says, “cry loud. Spare not. Lift up your voice like a trumpet.” There are so many needs within our nation. 

We need to pray for our children. We need to pray for politics. We need to pray for proper housing. We need to pray for marriages and finances so that we may all live the life that God has called us to. 

So I want you to join us. You may even have a personal situation that you want God to hear your voice. So I want you to go to the link below and submit your prayer request. We have thousands of volunteers waiting to pray for you. 

So don’t be ashamed. Don’t be fearful. Because the Bible says, “lift up your voice like a trumpet.” God is going to hear you. He’s going to hear us as we go before the Lord on behalf of our nation and ourselves. 

So let’s do this thing together. Let’s pray. Let’s lift up our voice like a trumpet and be the people of God that he’s called us to be that our nation would be blessed from this day forward.
