We read each submission carefully, and we’ll get in touch if we’re interested in publishing yours. Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we’re not able to respond personally to each one. If you have not heard from us in two months, please feel free to submit your story to another publisher.

This afternoon the editors are getting together to plan the August issue of Guideposts. Tomorrow we’ll discuss which stories will fit best in the July/August issue of Angels. In the magazine business, scheduling ahead is the rule. Besides, we want to get a jump on things so we clear even more time this summer to devote to our fifth edition of the full-size special interest publication The Joys of Christmas.
In this year’s holiday special we’ve already decided to feature the Joys of God’s Love, the Family Table, Our American Troops and Nostalgia. The topics alone have thrown me into the Christmas spirit! And as long as I’m working on The Joys of Christmas, you’ll always find stories of Christmas angels.

My editorial calendar usually puts me at Christmas sometime in July. Already I’m having to remind myself that mid-March is not a time to worry about holiday shopping. Oh, but it is time to wish you a happy St. Patrick’s Day!
