The Way to Christmas

Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.—Matthew 18:3 (ESV)

THERE IS A story that says at Christmas time “an enchantment falls upon the earth. It is a time when the Spirit of a newborn Child whose name is Love, possesses the world. The way to Christmas lies through an ancient gate…a little gate, child-high, child-wide, and there is a password: Peace on earth to men of good will.”

Heavenly Father, this season may I recapture the awe of the season and receive the kingdom of God with the humility of a child.
