The Power of Good Judgment
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.—James 1:5 (ESV)
If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?—Psalm 130:3 (ESV)
In today’s verse, as David waits for God to answer his prayer, he searches his heart and confesses anything that might be getting in the way of his relationship with God. If you are waiting to hear God’s answer to your prayer, surrender your will. Ask Him to align your desires with His plans and purpose.
Heavenly Father, I trust You just as David did, knowing that You will guide my steps.
