Sleep in Heavenly Peace
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.—Psalm 4:8 (NIV)
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.—Acts 16:25 (KJV)
In the above verse, Paul and Silas sang their prayers and God set them free. When you feel let down and discouraged, lift your spirits by singing praises to God. It may sound counter-intuitive or seem difficult to sing when you are sad, but try it. Feel your spirit lift.
Lord, thank You for the joy I feel when I sing your praises— the joy that sets me free and takes me above my own pain and discouragement.

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.—Psalm 4:8 (NIV)

My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.—2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.—Philippians 4:11 (NIV)
