When Louise encounters writer’s block while composing a concerto in memory of her late husband, she turns to a group of Christian rock musicians for assistance. Will they be able to overcome their musical differences to focus on what matters most, or will their relationship only develop into a series of arguments? It’s another heartwarming tale from Acorn Hill, where cozy adventures are always plentiful!
When the circus comes to Acorn Hill, not everything goes according to plan. After a baby elephant escapes and the calliope player is badly hurt, everyone is worried that circus will have to close and leave town unexpectedly. Will the Howard sisters be able to save the production and show the residents of Acorn Hill that excitement is always around them?
Alice consistently prays for Paula Middleton, a new resident to Acorn Hill who lives alone and is prone to seizures. After Paula is injured, could a service dog be an answer to Alice’s prayers? And can she convince the church board to cover the expenses? Meanwhile, almost everyone in Acorn Hill is wondering who the mysterious black dog that has been protecting the town like a faithful watchdog belongs to.
The Howard Sisters are in for an adventure when Louise’s daughter, Cynthia, invites a well-known home-and-garden expert to Acorn Hill! Meanwhile, when Alice discovers that dogs are being abused and mistreated for the purposes of racing, she is determined to get to the bottom of this crime and set things right! As usual, compassion and excitement are abundant in Acorn Hill!
September brings the first hints of autumn to Acorn Hill, and with the cooler air comes a new set of challenges for the Howard sisters. Jane runs into her old teammate Carrie, the one girl on the high school cross-country team whom Jane could never beat. And when Carrie asks Jane to enter a charity 5K race, Jane trains to win not just against the clock, but also against her old rival.

Finally the friends make their way to the house that was once owned by Elias Thorpe. After prodding the current owners, they uncover a clue to the elusive station master’s destination after he vanished from Marble Cove. Could he still be there after all these years?
Compelled by Dennis Calder’s determination to get his hands on the old train station property, the four friends search for ways to preserve the charming but run-down structure by having it designated as a landmark. What they learn, however, implicates Elias Thorpe in a scandal that rocked Marble Cove in the 1950s and changed the town forever.
To save the historic train station from demolition, the Women start a campaign to raise funds. During the campaign they receive a large donation from an unexpected source, but will the clue they uncover open the doors to finding the elusive former station master?
Following some tantalizing discoveries about Marble Cove’s final station master, the friends highlight the old train station by decorating it for Christmas. Will their efforts be enough to persuade the townspeople to preserve this vital part of local history?
