Pressing On – Book 13
Author: Camy Tang
Diane is anticipating a visit from her daughter Jessica and Jessica’s boyfriend, when an e-mail reminds Diane that three chapters of her book were due yesterday. Will her all-night writing session ruin Jessica and Martin’s visit or, worse, Diane’s health? Meanwhile Shelley is dismayed when goodies begin reaching customers in terrible shape and Dan seems increasingly miserable in his new job. Can she find the wisdom to help both of them over their hurdles? Margaret is stunned to find her prize-winning painting missing from her gallery. Can she track down the culprit and the artwork? And when Beverly gets an offer to buy her Augusta house, she learns that saying good-bye to the past is harder than she anticipated. Can closing on her old home help open her heart to a future with Jeff?
An obscure cipher points the friends back to Old First Church, and they gather once more at the huddle bell tower. The sudden peal of bells sends the women to safety before disaster strikes – but not before they discover something that could be the key to Jeremiah Thorpe’s treasure.
