Kim’s mother, Eileen, reveals that the money was raised for the Salvation Army canteen, but it disappeared the night of the USO dance. Eileen has carried the blame for the missing money for eighty years. But the question remains: Who was the actual thief?   

As Debbie and Janet work to clear their friend’s good name, Pastor Nick asks Debbie and Janet to chair the committee for the church’s annual fall festival. They are happy to help out, but soon disagreements and old grudges threaten to derail their best-laid plans.
