Not only does the peace of God pass all understanding, it defies all description. When it enters our hearts, old haunting fears give way to feelings of courage and confidence; the restlessness of life is quieted.

The parable of the good and faithful servant stresses the value of little things. Sometimes we think in larger-than-life terms—what grand gesture can I do to show my faith? But this parable reminds you that it is the little things that “Enter into the joy of the Master.”

Often Jesus blesses us with more than we can even imagine. As humans, we limit our thinking to the rules of this world, but God’s ways are miraculously limitless. Open your mind and your prayers to His infinite command. Trust that His plan is best.
