Lift Up Your Heart

Nothing can separate you from God’s love. Take that promise to heart, no matter what is happening in your life, you can be secure because God is with you, dedicated to helping you grow your faith and be your best. His care is supporting you.

Today marks the twentieth anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks. As we pray for all those affected by the horrific events of that day, let us recite the prayer that Father Mychal Judge, a Franciscan priest and a chaplain for the New York City Fire Department, prayed on a daily basis. Father Judge was killed at the World Trade Center ministering to a fallen firefighter.
Lord, take me where You want me to go. Let me meet who You want me to meet. Tell me what You want me to say, and keep me out of Your way. (Father Mychal’s Prayer)
