Ponder with All Your Heart

When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.—Luke 2:17–19 (NIV)
In the above verse, Mary is overjoyed by the miracle of Jesus’ birth, but takes time to process all that had happened to fully comprehend the amazing blessing bestowed upon the world. Today, take a moment and do the same: reflect on the Child of Bethlehem and the miracle of His birth.
Merciful God, thank You for living among us, as one of us.
