Jesus tells His followers that the people who experience the deep mourning of sin—and the version of themselves that turns their back on God—will receive His comfort and will be reminded that God is in control over even life’s most challenging situations. They will become overcomers!
Heavenly Father, when I am tempted to make choices that turn my heart away from You, right my way and hold me close.
