A Warm Welcome

The brothers and sisters there had heard that we were coming, and they traveled as far as the Forum of Appius and the Three Taverns to meet us. At the sight of these people Paul thanked God and was encouraged.—Acts 28:15 (NIV)
Just as the brothers and sisters in Rome welcomed Paul, you too can extend a warm welcome to those around you. Your hospitality can be a source of encouragement and comfort to others. Open your heart and your home to those in need, reflecting God’s love and kindness. Your actions can inspire others to do the same, creating a effect of God’s love in your community.
Lord, help me to extend generosity and kindness to those around me.
