
All in God’s Time
But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son.—Galatians 4:4 (NIV)
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess His name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.—Hebrews 13:15–16 (NIV)
LENT IS A time for drawing closer to Jesus. Many give up something this time of year—a small sacrifice to remind them of Jesus’ amazing sacrifice for us. This Lenten season, why not replace a habit of grumbling or complaining with praise. As Hebrews says, we learn to offer praise “through Jesus.”
Heavenly Father help me replace grumblings with contentment and praise.
