Guard Your Heart
Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.—Proverb s 4:23 (ESV)
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.—ROMANS 8:1 NLT
Every one of us has messed up—some of us big-time. Fortunately, we serve the God of second chances.
He tells us in 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (NIV).
When we confess our failures, repent, and move on, God wipes those mistakes away—He sees the child He created, who is washed in the blood of Jesus.
“Therefore,” Romans 8:1 says, “[there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit” (AMP).
Whatever we’ve done wrong, let’s stop condemning ourselves. If we’ve confessed those sins, there is no need for our feelings of guilt.
Guilt has held back the blessings of God long enough! Let it go! Have faith in the blood that cleanses all sins—past, present, and future.
“Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything” (1 John 3:20 NLT).
Father God, I thank You that You have forgiven me. Help me to forgive myself—and to let go of the guilt that keeps me from becoming the person You say that I am. Your Word is true, and I choose to believe what You say over what I feel.

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.—1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)
And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.”—Habakkuk 2:2 (ESV)
