[MUSIC PLAYING] Good day. I’m Chaplain Ken Sampson, military liaison with Guideposts Outreach Ministries. Welcome to this Guideposts Outreach Day of Prayer for our armed forces members.
Your prayers are important. Our sailors, Marines, soldiers, Coast Guard, and Air Force personnel serve this moment in isolated postings throughout the world. Knowing that God’s people remember them in prayer is a source of great encouragement and strength.
Likewise, our veterans, spouses, and family members and Department of Defense public servants are in need of our prayers. The scriptures tell us that God makes his people strong. God gives his people peace. We welcome you to pray this day for our armed forces members.
