The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

….Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.

Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.

Let my prayer be set before You as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.

Praise be to…the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven…

And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

In my anguish I cried to the Lord, and he answered by setting me free.

Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.
