Now on the first day you shall take for yourselves the foliage of beautiful trees, palm branches and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.—Leviticus 23:40 (NIV)
Take a moment and enjoy this beautiful time of year. Look to the trees and the scattered leaves gracing the ground and be inspired to let go of past hurts and disappointments. Forgive yourself of any mistakes. Be ready to bare your heart as the tree stands stark in winter.
Heavenly Father, help me to release feelings and thoughts that hinder my spiritual growth.
