
The Art of Listening
My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.—James 1:19 (NIV)
And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.—Matthew 14:36 (KJV)
This verse is a beautiful reminder that all it takes to feel complete is to reach out and touch God. Even if it’s only the hem of His garment, if your desire is real, you will be made perfectly whole. You’ll no longer be defeated by your fears or feel confused by inner conflict. You will be at peace.
Dear Lord, I reach out to You today for healing and help on this journey. I long to be perfectly whole.
