You Will Reap the Songs of Joy
Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.—Psalm 126:5 (NIV)
What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.”—Mark 10:51 (NIV)
In the above verse the blind man doesn’t simply say, “I want you to help me,” or “I want to feel better,” he says, “I want to see.” Being specific is important when you ask God to fulfill a need. When you share exactly what you want, it shows that you trust Him and that you believe He can help you.
Dear Lord, I know that you are listening—and that you hear my prayers.
Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.—Psalm 126:5 (NIV)
The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land.—Song of Solomon 2:12 (KJV)
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message.”—John 17:20 (NIV)
