Born of Water

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.—John 3:5 (NIV)

Throughout the Bible water is used as a symbol for new life and rebirth. Water washes away our mistakes and sins. Water reminds us that there is always a chance to start over and begin anew.

Dear Lord, wash away my sins and guilt. Wash me and I will be clean.
