God’s Unfailing Love

Why, Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?—Psalm 10:1 (NIV)
God understands when we express our frustration and impatience. He wants us to come to him with raw, true emotion. Release whatever is bothering you. Clear the air. Often sharing the problem with Him brings greater perspective and peace.
Great Redeemer, I surrender my upsetting emotions. Help me release my bitterness and live a life of freedom, a life of faith.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.—Romans 5:8 (NIV)

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.—Luke 6:35 (ESV)

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.—Luke 6:38 (NIV)
