Don’t Plead… Please!

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.—Philippians 2:13 (NLT)
When you pray, do you plead for what you want and try to convince God that you know best? Instead pray this verse. Let Scripture move your spirit more closely to His will rather than fighting for your way. Center your heart on pleasing God.
Lord, I need Your help in letting go of what I want. Help me to focus my effort on pleasing You instead.
