Guard Your Heart
Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.—Proverb s 4:23 (ESV)
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”—Matthew 18:21–22 (NIV)
Jesus invites us to be like Him, to love the people in our lives in spite of their wrongdoings and their shortcomings. He asks us to follow His teaching in the above verse to forgive and forgive again, remembering that His forgiveness is limitless.
Lord, it’s not always easy to forgive. Heal my wounded heart and teach me to love unconditionally
