The Joy of Faith
For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.—Psalm 30:5 (NIV)
What brings you joy? Is it a beautiful sunrise? The laughter of a loved one? Today, take a moment and reflect on the many gifts of grace that God has given you. Often we focus so much on our worries that we neglect to see what is certain and constant—His many blessings. Remind yourself that no matter what you are going through, as Psalm 30 promises, “joy comes in the morning.”
Heavenly Father, my joy is knowing that I can trust Your promises to always lift my spirits.
