He Weeps with You

When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. “Where have you laid him?” he asked. “Come and see, Lord,” they replied. Jesus wept.—John 11:33–35 (NIV)
In times of loss, remind yourself that you are not alone. God knows what it feels like to grieve. After Lazarus died, when Jesus saw Martha, He was deeply upset, and He wept. When you are in the depths of sorrow, offer your pain to Jesus, know that He weeps with you.
Heavenly Father, one day You will wipe every tear from my eyes.
