Help From Above
There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up.—Exodus 3:2 (NIV)

As the leaves turn into a magnificent display of brilliant hues, which slowly drift downward leaving behind beautiful silhouettes of bare trees, we are reminded that life is finite—and that all living things at one time or another will wither and fade. It is our faith in an infinite God who promises life without end that helps us to see the autumns of life not as endings, but as beginnings.
Heavenly Father, help me to see the autumns of life with hope, knowing that every ending is the start of something new.
