Jesus Calms the Storms
The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!” He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm.—Luke 8:24 (NIV)
This glorious verse is perfect to turn to when you feel as if you’re in over your head. Take a deep breath and remind yourself that Jesus can calm even the most frightening storms. Have faith and be patient. You can be steady even in the roughest waters when you recognize that Jesus is at the helm.
Lord, because of You, I can have peace during the storms of life.
