Sometimes world news can leave us feeling afraid and helpless. Turn to God in prayer when you are upset over troubling news reports. Ask Him to help and show you what you can do to make the world a better place.

My loving God, even when the world seems in turmoil and I am upset about the future, I trust that You are near, sending Your strength and peace.
