Peace in God’s Word

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.—John 1:14 (NIV)

“In the beginning…” The Bible opens with this profound truth (Genesis 1:1): God fills the past, the present and the future. Yet, He took on flesh and came to live with us human beings. Why? Because His love is so deep and so strong, it never ends.

Dear God, at the start of this brand-new year, guide me to make a difference in this world for Your glory.
