“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”—Luke 10:41–42 (NIV)
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.—Psalm 37:7 (NIV)
If you want to make a big change in your life, practice daily quiet time. Turn off your phone and any distractions and let go of any worries, to-dos, and responsibilities. For five full minutes get in harmony with your surroundings. Listen for God. Draw upon His instruction.
Heavenly Father, help me to remember the importance of quieting my mind so that I can hear You.
