Faithful Stewardship
Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds; for riches do not endure forever, and a crown is not secure for all generations.—Proverbs 27:23–24 (NIV)
Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.—Genesis 9:16 (NIV)
Many times throughout the Bible, God gives visible signs to help people remember His promises. The rainbow is a breathtaking symbol of God’s blessing and a stunning reminder of the triumph of mercy and the victory of grace.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the many reminders You send to show me I am blessed.

But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.—Luke 6:27–28 (NIV)
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.—Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
