Life has a way of surprising us with events that catch us off guard or plans that turn out differently than our
expectations. When you feel upset or disappointed, turn to Him and trust His goodness. It’s been said that life’s disappointments can become divine appointments—important times that lead us to strengthen our connection with God.
Lord, help me to see Your goodness when I am feeling lost and upset. Lead me to let go of my misguided expectations for Your plans.
