Embrace Your Age
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.—2 Corinthians 4:16 (ESV)

God rested on the seventh day. Remind yourself of this scripture when you are too busy to even think. Rest is a necessary and important part of life. Give yourself permission to take time off, to say no to things you don’t want to do and to take time to relax and restore your spirit.
Heavenly Father, I need to reshape the way I think about rest, to see its importance in the cycle of my life. It’s a necessary part of getting things done.
