“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”—Luke 10:41–42 (NIV)
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.—Psalm 4:8 (NIV)
End your day with prayer. Before you go to sleep, pray inspiring and comforting words from the Bible. Find a few favorites and keep them by your bed. Pray God’s Word before you fall asleep.
Heavenly Father, because of You I can go to bed without fear. I can lie down and sleep soundly.
