Seek Peace and Pursue It

Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always].—Colossians 3:15 (AMP)
C.S. Lewis said, “God can’t give us peace and happiness apart from Himself because there is no such thing.” When you pursue your relationship with God and seek His presence, you experience the freedom of knowing that nothing on earth can chase away His peace.
Thank You, Lord, for Your peace that transcends all understanding.
