God Chooses You
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.—1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)

There are times in life that despite trying your hardest, praying earnestly and deeply desiring something, it just doesn’t happen. Sometimes we must accept that not everything is available when we want it. When this happens we must trust that something better—something different than what we expected—is on its way.
Father God, it’s hard to let go of certain wants, but I will because I trust Your plan and Your timing.
