Welcome the New Year
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.—Revelation 22:13 (NIV)
“Take a guard,” Pilate answered. “Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how.”—Matthew 27:65 (NIV)
The tomb was silent. Yet the silence would only last one more day. Today as you wait amidst the darkness of Good Friday and the Light of Easter, make time to reflect on the hope of the resurrection.
Lord Jesus, today I will focus on the miraculous fact that the darkness of yesterday will soon be overcome by the light of tomorrow.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.—Revelation 22:13 (NIV)

Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.—Luke 2:14 (NIV)

And she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.—Luke 2:7 (NIV)
