Choose Peace
Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.—Titus 3:1–2 (NIV)

Contentment has nothing to do with what you own, the number on your bathroom scale, or a goal being reached. Contentment is all about your relationship with God. When you know Him deeply, you recognize that true peace, purpose and joy are the fruit of your faith.
Heavenly Father, when I fall into the trap of thinking, “I’d only be happy if…” guide me towards prayer and recognizing that contentment lies in You.
