The Reflection of Your Heart

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at.”—1 Samuel 16:7 (NIV)

Today, put as much attention on your thoughts and feelings as you do on your outward appearance. As you get ready for your day, check your attitude. Focus on being authentic and kind. Pray for God’s help to develop a beautiful heart that loves and gives generously.

Heavenly Father, help me reflect Your patience and kindness in my relationships. Help me bring the light of Your love to the lives of those around me.
