The Sweet Fragrance of Prayer

The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand.—Revelation 8:4 (NIV)

This verse gives a beautiful image of your prayers rising before God’s throne. When you pray, picture your prayers ascending to meet and please God. Your devotion to Him is treasured. Your prayers rise to meet Him—they matter!

Lord God, in the words of Psalm 141:2 (ESV), “Let my prayer be counted as incense before You.”
