Live for God’s Glory
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.—1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”—Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV)
Your prayers aren’t always answered with a yes. When God says no and you accept His answer, you allow Him to do His work. It’s not always easy to surrender to God’s will, but it will bring you to a deeper faith when you recognize He knows your needs and directs you, not the other way around.
Dear Lord, I know that Your ways are higher than mine. I may not understand why You say no, but trust Your answer.

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.—1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.—Psalm 51:10 (NIV)

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.—Philippians 4:13 (NIV)
