worth than gold, which perishes even though
refined by fire—may result in praise, glory

Although you cannot control everything that happens
in your life, you can control how you react to challenges.
When you approach life’s storms as learning experiences
that will help make you a stronger and better person, you
can see the silver lining of every cloud.
Dear Lord, guide me to being an eager student of life—to
see every struggle as a tool to shape me into my best.
