Most of us dislike winter, endless days of unchanging, frigid weather, threatening to shrivel our faith and discourage our spirits
We still do May Day baskets because it’s an opportunity, a simple-easy way to love someone. It’s a way to reach into a life and say, “Hey, I value you. I’m glad that you’re here.”
The Father’s ears are always listening to our prayers and petitions. He is there 24/7.
Soon this raking is a pleasure. Praise flows in a steady stream. There’s so much to thank the Lord for. I’m happy, overjoyed to be here–in this normally full-of-life place on a day when it’s quiet enough to think about the blessings the Lord brings.
