Divine Love

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing…”—Luke 23:34 NIV
Even as Jesus faced excruciating pain and suffering, He focused his prayers on others. Instead of calling out for wrath and destruction, Jesus called for mercy. His compassionate prayer amidst unimaginable torture is proof of God’s absolute love for each one of us.
Lord, thank You for Your loving me unconditionally. Help me to be more like Jesus, more forgiving and selfless.
