From the Mouth of God

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ”—Matthew 4:4 (NIV)
Just as you need daily bread for your body, you need God’s Word to feed your heart, mind and spirit. God offers wisdom, guidance and peace through Scripture. Reflect on this verse and the beautiful gift that we are blessed with. Every word comes from the mouth of God.
Dear Lord, thank You for filling my heart with the richness of Your Word.
