Keep Calm During Conflict

A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict, but the one who is patient calms a quarrel.—Proverbs 15:18 (NIV)
How do you respond when someone treats you unfairly? Do you resist the urge to get angry and upset? Sometimes the best response is to take a moment and pray. Ask God to help you turn the situation around. Practicing self-control strengthens your character and enables you to develop the ability to diffuse contentious situations.
Merciful God, help me control my reactions to difficult people and situations. When I am frustrated, fill me with Your peace.

Heavenly Father, when I am feeling lost, lift the uncertainty from my spirit and guide me to follow Your direction. Please help me to stay on course
