Right Your Compass

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.—Galatians 1:10 (NIV)
Reflect on your recent actions and ask yourself if you were focused on pleasing people or pleasing God. Jesus has called us to be His servants. Let go of the urge to make everyone around you happy. Instead, seek to please Jesus—that is your true path to happiness.
Lord, help me to cast aside the burden of being a people pleaser. Your approval is the only one I need.
