Put Your Hand to the Plow

Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”—Luke 9:62 (ESV)
Following Jesus requires focus. As the above verse declares, you can’t plow a field looking behind you, nor can you live a faith-filled life distracted by the past. Ask Jesus to help you keep your eyes fixed on Him. And don’t look back!
Lord, when distractions and to-do lists pull me off the path, guide me back to You.
