The Power of Humility

He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?—Micah 6:8 (NKJV)
God calls you to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him. This isn’t just a suggestion, but a requirement for those who follow Him. As you humble yourself before Him, strive for justice, and show mercy to others, you reflect His heart to the world around you.

Celebrate Little Easters

Bear in mind that the Lord has given you the Sabbath.—Exodus 16:29 (NIV)
Some describe the Sundays in Lent as “little Easters,” days of feasting rather than fasting, a time of joyful expectation of the Resurrection. May you be inspired to celebrate the power of faith and embrace each day with a hopeful spirit.
Heavenly Father, I come to You today in awe of all You have done for me. I love You, Lord Jesus.

The Breath of God

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.—2 Timothy 3:16–17 (NIV)
Every word of Scripture carries the breath of God’s divine inspiration. His Word teaches, corrects and trains you in righteousness. Immerse yourself in Scripture. Allow it to prepare you for the good work He has planned for you.
Lord, may Your Word fuel my spirit and shape my actions for Your glory.

The Kingdom Within

And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.—Luke 17:20–21 (KJV)
Jesus emphasized the presence of the Kingdom of God within you. Embrace this truth and let it shape your thoughts, actions and relationships. While life’s journey may present challenges, walking in the awareness of God’s Kingdom within brings blessed rewards.
Lord, may I live each day in accordance with Your teachings, reflecting Your love and grace to those around me.
